The Sigrin is a ground-source heat pump with inverter technology that offers you very high performance thanks to its unique technical solutions.
With an impressive seasonal coefficient of performance (SCOP)* of 5,48 (at 35°C floor heating according to EN14825 and SCOP 5,28 in an average climate), the Sigrin 13 helps you better manage your energy consumption.
*SCOP is a measure that describes how efficiently a heat pump works over a full year, including warm and cold periods. It indicates the relationship between the amount of energy produced and the amount consumed. The higher the value, the better the system.
Sigrin is available in three output sizes:
Sigrin features a built-in 184-liter hot water tank. Sigrin Duo is a version without a built-in hot water tank but which is designed to work with a separate hot water tank: this can be the MBH G 200 or MBH G 300, or any other comparable product. With a wide range of accessories, Sigrin can also provide cooling, heat a pool and work in combination with solar panels or additional heat sources.
The hot water tank uses Thermia’s TWS (Tap Water Stratification) technology, which is designed to optimise heat transfer and enable better “layering” of the water. This means that hot water is produced fast and at high temperature and the hot water lasts longer when using large amounts.
With Inverter and TWS technology the Sigrin 13 can deliver very high volumes of domestic hot water very fast: 277 litres at 40°C.
Its innovative mechanical design makes Sigrin one of the quietest heat pumps on the market. Operational sound levels for the Sigrin 9 model vary from 38 dB(A) up to 46 dB(A), depending on compressor speed (according to EN12102 and EN ISO 3741).
Sigrin 9 is one of the quietest heat pumps on the market.
The Sigrin ground source heat pump features the Thermia-developed inverter technology, which controls the compressor and constantly adjusts the heat load according to current heat demand.
On top of this, the Thermia Optimum technology monitors your system and adjusts performance accordingly.
Speed-controlled Class-A circulation pumps guarantee that daily operation is automatically adjusted according to the conditions and your requirements. Thus, you never use more energy than needed, keeping your energy bills to a minimum without lifting a finger.
This three-colour light provides users the ability to see the status of the heat pump. The color scheme provide and overview of specific events:
• Light: all correct
• Yellow: alarm
• Red: alarm
Built-in connectivity makes the heat pump more accessible to users and installers than ever before.
It features:
For those who prefer traditional connections, we also offer an RJ45 wire connection.
* The 4G connection is free of charge until 30 April 2028. With 4G, there is no need for Wi-Fi via a router or a cable.
The MyThermia app enables you to check that your heating system is working properly, reduce the temperature when you are on holiday, or receive a notification if anything unexpected comes up. Our online system provides installers with comprehensive diagnostics data and also enables them to respond promptly to notifications or access a live feed on system performance.
The MyThermia app is available for both Android and iPhone.

Smart Price is an additional service from MyThermia, designed to lower your heating costs. It plans and adjusts your heat pump’s energy usage for both heating and hot water based on the hourly price from the electricity exchange Nord Pool*.
When electricity prices are low, Smart Price will increase your heat pump’s heating for the house and hot water slightly, and then reduce heating when electricity prices are higher. In this way, part of your electricity consumption can be shifted from times with a high hourly price to times when the electricity price is lower.
*Nord Pool services are available in selected European countries
The controller coordinates and controls the heating system. Thermia heat pumps work with complete precision to give your home the best possible indoor climate at the lowest possible cost. Our controller is very easy to use.
The system uses an algorithm that ensures the lowest possible running cost while maintaining the desired indoor temperature.
New features:
The heat pump provides heat during the winter, while in the summer the process can be simply reversed. The heat pump collects heat from the house and deposits it into the ground borehole to provide cooling. This process works much better than traditional air conditioning. The Calibra E with an optional accessory can both heat your home and cool it in the summer.
The Calibra E can easily be supplemented to heat your pool, all year round. In this way, you can enjoy your pool in all seasons at a very low cost.
Most common European heating systems are water-based, with heat being distributed via radiators or underfloor heating. The output temperature of the water distribution system is usually 30-35°C for floor heating and 45-55°C for radiators. Thermia heat pumps use natural energy from the ground to heat and provide hot water for all sorts of different types of homes, including new builds and refurbishments and regardless of the temperature required in the heating system.
Thermia heat pumps are designed, tested and manufactured in one of the harshest climates in Europe. Swedish winters can be extreme. February is usually the coldest month, with temperatures dropping as low as -30°C or even lower in the north and heating is essential from September to May.
The Calibra E is built on 50 years of experience in developing and supplying heat pumps.
Climate protection begins at home
Air and ground source heat pumps have the potential to reduce your home’s CO2 emissions by up to 75% and can act as your individual contribution to the commitment to source 32% of European energy from renewable sources by 2030.
